The foundation for the Yoga exercises practiced is an understanding of Vipassana, the
training of mindfulness forming the basis of the Buddha's teaching.
The practice of Hatha-Yoga [Yoga exercises] and Pranayama [Yoga breathing]
are integrated in a training of mindfulness: Moment-to-moment meditation during asanas
[postures] and kriyas [movements], done slowly and with concentration.
