1. If I began studying before the new Thai Massage Training program was put in place, am I eligible to take courses according to the old structure?

Yes. Students who began studying at Lotus Palm prior to January 1st, 2008, are eligible to take courses according to the old format. This ‘grandfathering’ period will end January 1st, 2009.


2. How long do I have to complete the entire Training Program?

Students have 2 years to complete the program from the time they take Thai Yoga Massage 1. Students who began their studies with Lotus Palm before January 1st 2008, have until January 1st, 2010 to complete the program.


3. Why have you created this new Thai Massage Training Program?

The new Thai Massage Training Program is part of Lotus Palm’s commitment to providing its students with the highest Thai Massage education standards in the world. It is the fruit of our years of hands-on experience in training students and course development.


4. What is the After-Care Program?

The After-Care Business and Skills Development Program is part of our commitment to supporting our students every step of the way towards establishing their career. We have asked ourselves what more we can do to ensure that our students not only have the best training, but that they are also putting that knowledge to great use. The After-Care Program will outline the beginning of your career path, to help motivate and support you in setting up a practice routine, as well as give you tools to help establish your business.


5. Do I have to complete the homework for each course before moving on to the next course or Certification level?

No. Students are not required to complete all of their documented massages or supervisions before continuing on to the next course or Certification level. However, all homework must be completed in order to receive any Certificate and to complete the entire Thai Massage Training Program.


6. If I took a course before the new Thai Massage Training program was put in place, how many documented massages must I complete?

For each 5-day course completed before January 1st, 2008, students are required to do 10 documented massages. Courses completed after January 1st, 2008, will required 15 documented massages.


7. If I took my courses before Jan 1st 2008, which Certification Application form should I use?

For "Thai Yoga Massage 1 & 2", please use the Essential Certification form.
For "Ayurveda & Thai Yoga Massage 1 & 2", please use the Intermediate Certification form.
For "Anatomy" & "Advanced Postures", please use the Advanced Certification form.
