Yuko Arimitsu After years of travelling the world, I came back to Japan, my native country, and started looking for a new career. I evaluated multiple options and finally got the inspiration to learn massage in Thailand, one of my favourite countries! So I went there, stayed for a few months and I loved what I learned! Now I happily go back every year to practice. Since then, I also gave massages in all sorts of places: in an international ski resort town, on a sunny beach, on the riverside of a village in the mountains…

I came to Montreal last summer and immediately fell in love with this beautiful and interesting multilingual city, so I decided to look for a job. I visited many Thai massage spas and found Lotus Palm.

Mickey Harris I discovered Thai Yoga Massage from a Lotus Palm book I found at a library that I was just browsing around in, in San Marcos, TX a few years back. When I read the words Thai Yoga Massage, I instantly felt called to it. I have loved giving massages since I was around 7 years old. And I was always told I was really good at it but I never wanted to make it a career until I saw that book. I finally found a style that I want to truly learn and integrate into my life. So I decided to come all the way to Montreal and take the full summer program!

Denis Petrov The first time I heard about Thai Massage was through my first bodywork teacher, Pavel Schneiderman, the founder of “Integral Body Oriented Process” technique, in Moscow, Russia. He referred a lot to Thai massage masters such as Mr. Pichet, and explained to us that he took a lot from Thai massage techniques to develop the approach we studied. I found it interesting and, in my search to improve the skills, I started looking for a place to learn it.
