Giving Thanks

Not a day goes by that I am not thankful. For my health, for the wonderful people around me and for the life that I am living.

This morning I sit having coffee and waiting for a friend that I haven't seen for quite some time. The sky is silver gray and a hint of sun is just beyond. This is one of my favorite times of the day, it gives me the chance to breathe before the day starts. I often reflect and think about how blessed I am. I get to inspire people as they inspire me. I get to share my stories as others share with me.

I give thanks because everyday I am reminded why I am on my path and I continue to learn to be a better person by making mistakes, by trying harder to forgive and to not take small things for granted.

I am healthy, I am safe, I am loved, and I have enough to eat.

What are you thankful for?

-Sukha Wong
