Where we are
The Lotus Palm Centre is located in the Mile End district of Plateau Mont-Royal;
an artistic community in the heart of Montreal.
View Lotus Palm in a larger map
Office hours: Monday-Friday, 9am - 5:30pm
From Pierre-Elliot Trudeau International Airport (YUL)
We suggest taking a taxi; for about $40 it's the hassle-free way to go.
For the more ambitious or budget-conscious
We are within walking distance of Laurier metro station, or you can take the "55" bus
from St-Laurent metro station and get off at Fairmount (fare at Sept 2007 = $2.75).
For precise directions, please consult:
» Montreal's public transit system, the STM
» Google Maps, See above
» If coming by train, Via Rail or Amtrak
» By bus, Greyhound or Orleans Express
Where to park
There is limited indoor paid public parking at 5455 de Gaspé from 8:00am to 6:00pm. Please mention that you are a Lotus Palm student.
There is also limited outdoor paid public parking at 5633 St Dominique from 7:00am to 4:00pm. After 4pm, parking is free.
On the street parking can be found in the area, but pay close attention to the restrictions:
"Sticker parking" (signs with a number in a red box) is reserved for residents only.
What to bring
For your course: Please bring a pen, paper and your Lotus Palm Thai Yoga Massage book(s).
Wear comfortable yoga-like clothing. Lotus Palm will provide all classroom massage mats and accessories.
Montreal in general: It gets really hot in the summer, and quite cold in the
winter, so come prepared! Spring & Fall have warm days and cool nights during which we recommend
a jacket or sweater. Montreal also gets some spectacular thunder showers. You can check Montreal's
weather forecast at www.weather.ca.
There are lots of cafes in the area with wireless Internet access for those who bring a laptop.
Similarly there are several Internet stations in the neighborhood.
Students from Europe may wish to bring an adapter for their electrical items.
