Shanti Yoga incorporates many forms
of mindful practices in their studio,
including Tai-Chi, Hakomi, Shamanic
Journeys, and Pilates. They provide
a comfortable and calming environment
where students can explore their
yoga journey freely.
Classes
Beginner Yoga I &
II: For those who are starting from
scratch, Beginner Yoga I & II
are the classes to attend. Shanti
Yoga focuses on the basic poses
and moves combined with proper breathing
techniques.
Nia: The Nia class
promotes overall well-being for
anyone interested by grouping healing,
martial, and dance arts together.

Chakra Yoga Class:
This class takes place over an eight-week
period, allowing students to fully
grasp the ancient system of energy
centers. Studying the chakras benefits
positive personal transformation
and spiritual awakening.
Laughter Yoga:
Shanti Yoga Studio offers this wonderfully
fun class to promote laughter as
a means to happiness. Laughter releases
endorphins and is proven to raise
oxygen levels in the blood.
Lisa Dymond's Hot Yoga
class: This class follows
a sequence and inspirational music
is played throughout. Beginning
with mantras and ending with readings
and hand mudras, students are encouraged
to maintain a peaceful quiet to
allow for mindfulness.
Features
Rolfing & Yoga
The Shanti Yoga Studio
combines yoga with Rolfing; a practice
that allows for more efficiency
and flexibility in the body. Dr.
Ida P. Rolf created the work which
is used by athletes and dancers
to ease pain and improve overall
posture.
Thai Yoga Massage
Shanti Yoga offers a 37.5
hour course on how to give a 90
minute Thai massage. This massage
teaches students how to transition
easily through the poses and is
beneficial for both the giver and
the receiver at the same time. See
