Lotus Palm Montreal Center Policies
Course Policies
- Lotus Palm holds courses in its central location in Montreal and its partners in centers and cities located in Canada, the United States and worldwide. Any payment, registration or refund policies are subject to the rules and regulations of each individual center.
- In Montreal the payment and refund policies are as follows:
- A deposit of $150 (CAD or USD) is required to register for any 5-day or 3-day course.
- A deposit of $100 (CAD or USD) is required to register for any 2-day course.
- The balance payment is due the day of the class before the start of the course.
- Payments are accepted in Canadian and American currency by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX), cheque or cash; and in Canadian funds only via American Express and debit cards.
- For any last minute cancellations please notify us at least 2 weeks before the course for a full refund. After the 2-week deadline all payments and deposits are transferable to future courses held in Montreal within a 1 year period only. A $50 administrative fee will apply for the refund.
- Any cheque payment returned as insufficient funds is subject to a $50 penalty fee. The fee and remaining balance can be paid with cash, debit or credit card ONLY; no cheques will be accepted as a second payment.
- If a student becomes ill or has an emergency during a course, Lotus Palm reserves the right to assess refunds on a case-by-case basis.
- If a student is required, for reasons personal or otherwise, to miss part(s) of a course there is no refund and courses are non transferrable.
- All prices on www.lotuspalm.com are effective January 2012, and supersede any other printed or online material.
- Any video/audio/photo capture of Lotus Palm courses, activities, etc. is strictly prohibited.
- Students wishing to practice at Lotus Palm may do so for a fee of $5 on Mondays between the hours of 10-4pm.
- Should classes at Lotus Palm in Montreal be rescheduled or cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, the students can retake the classes at a later date within one year in Montreal. Lotus Palm will not be held responsible for expenses incurred by students.
Product Policies
- Payments are accepted by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or AMEX), cash or debit in Canadian or American funds only.
- Our in-store hours are Monday-Saturday 9am-5:00pm and Sunday 10am - 5pm.
- All products can be returned for an in store credit within 10 days providing the products have not been used and are in the original packaging. Shipping and handling not included in the credit. Please include your receipt with your return. In store credit is valid for 6 months.
- Lotus Palm will not be held responsible for any customs charges incurred during the shipping or receiving of packages. Any duty imposed at the border is the sole responsibility of the customer.
- Any custom charges incurred by Lotus Palm in the return of an item will be reduced from the total refund.
- 10% discount on wholesale items when purchasing 10 or more of the same item. Discount only applies to retail price of items, not to be combined with other discounts or offers.
- Hall rental: Temple Room - $350, Earth Room - $300. The fee covers 9-5pm (8 hours); each additional hour is $50/hr. All renters must sign a contract and are subject to approval beforehand.

Massage Policies
- Please consult our website for massage prices.
- Payments are accepted by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or AMEX), cash or debit in Canadian or American funds only. Within 24 hours the massage is non-refundable. Special situations are reviewed on a case by case basis.
- Any video/audio capture of Lotus Palm massages, activities, etc is strictly prohibited without express permission from Lotus Palm management.
- A credit number will be requested when booking a massage.
- Clients are asked to provide 24 hours notice for any cancellations. Monday or weekend appointment cancellations must be notified by 4 pm the preceding Friday. Within 24 hours the massage is non-refundable and your card will be charged 50% of the price.
Privacy & Security Policy
- The use of this website and/or newsletter constitutes agreement with the terms of this Privacy Policy.
- The Lotus Palm School gathers information given voluntarily by its visitors through the registration process.
- The Lotus Palm School will keep the visitor's information confidential. This information will be used for internal purposes only.
- The visitor will take responsibility for updating account information.
