Effective June 2009, all Canadians crossing into America (and vice versa) must present a passport as a valid form of identification.
All international students studying in Canada must carry a passport as well and you may need a visa depending on your citizenship.

We suggest taking a taxi; for about $45 it's the hassle-free way to go.

What to bring
For your coursePlease bring a pen, paper and your Lotus Palm Thai Yoga Massage book(s).
Wear comfortable yoga-like clothing. IYI will provide all classroom massage mats and accessories.
New York in general: It gets hot in the summer, and quite cold in the winter, so come prepared!
Spring & Fall have warm days and cool nights during which we recommend a jacket or sweater.

There are lots of cafes in the area with wireless Internet access for those who bring a laptop.
Similarly there are several Internet stations in the neighborhood.
Students from Europe may wish to bring an adapter for their electrical items.
